Feather Weldon

is a professional dancer and dance educator newly relocated to Houston from Cleveland, Ohio. She is currently a company member of AdDeum Dance Company, She holds a BA in Dance Performance with a Business Cognate from the University of Akron. Prior to attending UA, Feather received the majority of her training from The Otto M. Budig Academy of the Cincinnati Ballet under Mishic and Val Liberatore, and Tevlin Ballet Company, under Michael and Amy Tevlin. Feather has been blessed to perform with many different companies including Cincinnati Ballet, Dayton Ballet, Verb Ballets, Dissonance Dance Theatre, Charlottesville Ballet, Among Women Dance Collective, and most recently, Zion Dance Project, and American Neoclassical Ballet. In addition to dancing & teaching, Feather is a classically certified Pilates Instructor and a certified Flexologist with StretchLab. Feather is so excited to be teaching at In-Step Dance Center and can’t wait to cultivate the joy of dance in each and every student.


Fernando Ibarra 

was born in Houston, Tx, where he began his dance career at the age of six around various studios across the Houston area. Over time, he has garnered a unique style of dance that includes various elements of multiple dance techniques. Throughout high school, Fernando was given the opportunity to choreograph for his highschool dance team along with other high schools amongst his school district. He has been awarded numerous times for his choreography throughout different competitions in the state of Texas. In 2016 Fernando co-founded DeLa Rosa Dance Company located here in Houston, who is a non-profit organization that outreaches the youth community by participating in showcases around Houston. In the summer of 2016 Fernando took a trip around Europe taking dance classes and workshops in France and the U.K and the Netherlands in the styles of jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. Fernando was also an invitational guest artist at the Waco 504 Festival in 2017 and performed at the NDEO conference in San Antonio, Tx. Fernando went on to continue his dance education by attending Stephen F. Austin State University where he was a member of the prestigious Stephen F. Austin State University Dance Teams. Fernando is now currently still working on his B.F.A in Dance here in Houston. Fernando is excited to be a part of the In-Step Dance Center faculty to help dancers grow and exceed at their fullest potential.


Brendan Rodriguez

is a dancer, choreographer and instructor from Austin, TX. Throughout high school he trained and performed with ZACH Theatre’s Elite Pre-Professional Company and Cedar Ridge HS Visual and Performing Arts Academy. After HS he is continuing his education at Sam Houston State University where he is training for a B.F.A. in Dance. He has worked in multiple studios and tumbling gyms while also performing in musicals and dance concerts in both the Austin and Houston areas. This is his 4th year teaching acrobatics and dance. He can’t wait to begin 2nd season with In-Step Dance Center!
