Welcome to our new instructor

Brooke Binns began dancing in The Woodlands at the age of nine. She began taking classes in The Woodlands where she was a national champion team member for four years & a nationally ranked and national award winning soloist. She also gained opportunities for performances with her competition company to perform throughout Texas. In 2003, Brooke became a founding member of The Woodlands Dance Force, under the direction of Shawn Lusk and Regan Jackson Jurick. From 2003 to 2006 Brooke was a part of the national award winning team and was a nationally ranked soloist and finalist at many different competitions. While dancing with TWDF, she was given an opportunity to teach, and at the age of 15 and discovered her love for teaching. She began working as an instructor for MA Dance Company in 2006. Working for MA, she has been able to continue with her dream, and teach students all over the United States. From 2006 to 2008 Brooke was awarded a full dance scholarship from Blinn Junior College where the team placed as one of the top five teams at nationals. Brooke became a part of The Woodlands Dance Center staff in 2007, leading two of TWDF’s competitive companies, along with soloists, to National titles & High Point honors. She also teaches dance teams throughout the Houston area, where she has had the opportunity to choreograph award winning solos, ensembles, and team pieces. She teaches ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary to students of all levels and ages. Brooke’s passion is teaching and dancing; she looks forward to many possibilities ahead of her, and is thankful for every moment of life she has while teaching and dancing.
