Lauren is originally from Tinley Park, Illinois and began taking dance at the age of 3 with Miss Mary Lee at the Park Forest Conservatory of Music and Dance. She began her professional career at the age of 18 with the Northern Illinois Dance Academy. Lauren studied ballet, jazz, tap and modern at Northern Illinois University as well as earning her Bachelor of Art in Finance
